Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop implement and maintain EHS policies procedures and programs in compliance with local state and federal regulations (e.g. OSHA EPA).
  • Conduct regular safety audits risk assessments and inspections to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Partner with the Lead EHS Coordinator to conduct safety audits risk assessments and facility inspections.
  • Oversee environmental compliance including waste management air and water quality environmental permits and hazardous materials handling.
  • Deliver EHS training and education to employees at all levels.
  • Maintain records prepare reports and communicate EHS performance to management.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for regulatory agencies and coordinate facility inspections.
  • Maintain ISO 14001 and 45001 certifications
  • Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement in EHS performance.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Occupational Safety Engineering or related field.
  • 5 years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment; experience in legacy or historic facilities is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication leadership and organizational skills.
  • Certification such as CSP CIH or CHMM preferred.
