Senior Payroll Analyst:
The Senior PayrollAnalyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing payroll data andpartnering with our 3rd Party processing company to ensure all teammembers are paid in compliance with state and federal laws. This role will alsobe responsible for ensuring compliance with federal state and local payrolltax regulations analyzing payroll tax data and resolving tax-relateddiscrepancies. This role requires strong analytical skills a deepunderstanding of payroll tax laws and the ability to work collaborativelyacross departments.
WhatYoull Do:
Establish relationships and work closelywith restaurant and manufacturing operations to provide support on payrollprocesses and procedures.
Collaborate cross-departmentbetween People & Culture Accounting Legal and Field operations asapplicable to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes.
Assist with the setupmaintenance auditing and reconciliation of all employee payroll data recordsincluding tax withholdings 401k deductions direct deposit information andother employee benefits in our payroll data platform (UKG).
Assist with auditing employeedata to ensure data discrepancies are reviewed and corrected.
Ensure payroll accuracy and taxcompliance across a complex multi-entity organization with operations inmultiple states (and growth).
Maintain compliance withfederal state and localities including reporting requirements taxadministration and compensation.
Partner with 3rdParty processing company to process and record manual payroll checks andadjustments as needed.
Regularly review employee taxset-up to ensure accurate taxation.
Conduct regular audits toidentify and resolve discrepancies in payroll tax configuration or reporting.
Process required filings andreports.
Develop and document payrolltax procedures and policies.
Review and validate acceleratedfinal pay requests for accuracy and compliance.
Lead system upgrades andintegrations to enhance payroll efficiency.
Ensure proper configuration andmaintenance of payroll systems for optimal functionality.
Serve as back-up for SeniorPayroll Manager.
Performs other advanced level duties as required.
The Qualifications:
Bachelorsdegree in business administration Accounting Human Resources or a relatedfield preferred
FPC or CPP certification preferred
5years of payroll experience
Proficient skills with Microsoft Excel and One Note
Excellent analytical skills
Keen attention to detail
Experience with UKG preferred
Physical Requirements:
Abilityto maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and otheroffice equipment
Mustbe able to identify analyze and assess details
Forcertain positions must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to50 pounds
Abilityto communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
Constantlypositions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food productionsupport or office operations as applicable
Abilityto work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
