Job Description
Role Summary
We are seeking aCore Network Project Engineerwith strong expertise intelecom core network technologiesto support a critical project throughimplementation testing and go-live phases. This role demands solid troubleshooting abilities protocol knowledge and collaboration with architects SMEs and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent theCore Network teamthroughout the project lifecycle (initiation to closure).
- Collaborate withNetwork and IT Architectsto ensure end-to-end implementation alignment.
- Validate Core Network requirements and designs with SMEs.
- Develop test plans and manage/coordinate test execution (onsite & remote).
- Investigate diagnose and resolvecomplex core network faultsusing log and trace analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze fault trends and drive preventive solutions.
- Provide support duringPOCs trials UAT and go-liveactivities.
- Work flexible hours (night/weekend shifts) when required during project phases.
- SupportCore Network BAU activities(monitoring testing troubleshooting).
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or higher inElectronics Telecommunications or Computer Science.
Skills & Experience
Essential
- Strong knowledge ofCS PS & IMS Core(validation troubleshooting fault resolution).
- Solid understanding ofend-to-end data service call flows.
- Hands-on experience withkey telecom protocols: GTP Gi Sy Gx Gy & Ro SIGTRAN MAP.
- Proficiency inWiresharkfor trace analysis and debugging.
Desirable
- Knowledge of3GPP IETF GSMA standardsand architectures.
- Familiarity withSIM eSIM and BAP testing.
- Database knowledge (Oracle SQL Server or other platforms).
- System admin experience withPL/SQL Batch UNIX MS Office.
- Ability to interpretprograms codes SOPs.
- Scripting experience (Shell or other programming languages).
- Exposure toAWS or cloud platforms.
- Working knowledge ofJira and Confluence.
