Job Description

Associate Practitioner in Histology

Banding: Band 4

Location: West Yorkshire

Start Date: November

Duration: Ongoing

Working Pattern: Core hours only

Hourly Rate: 14-16

We are currently seeking a Band 4 Associate Practitioner specialising in Histology to join our clients team in West Yorkshire. This is a full-time ongoing position working core hours only offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to contribute to a busy and well-established laboratory service.

Key Responsibilities

You will process and embed tissue samples perform microtomy and stain slides for microscopic examination. You will support pathologists in diagnostic reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

- HCPC registration not required

- Degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent

- Experience in Histology within a clinical laboratory

- Experience with microtomy and staining techniques

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

- NHS experience (preferred)
