Job Description
R.J. Kielty Plumbing Heating and Cooling a family-owned business with over 49 years of excellence is looking for a reliable and organizedWarehouse Associate to join our HVAC team in New Port Richey.
As the HVAC Warehouse Associate you will play a critical role in ensuring the HVAC team has the materials and equipment needed to complete jobs efficiently and on time. This role involves managing inventory organizing the warehouse and supporting field teams through logistics coordination. We are seeking applicants who have HVAC experience.
Schedule is 6am to 3pm Monday-Friday with occasional overtime as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive inspect and stock incoming HVAC products and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory records and organize warehouse stock
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Build mixing boxes and assist with custom assemblies as needed
- Perform routine general maintenance of the warehouse
- Open and close the warehouse daily
- Prepare material lists and assist with supply ordering
- Transport company vehicles for scheduled maintenance
- Clean and organize service vehicles
- Deliver parts and equipment to job sites as needed
- Record and maintain equipment model/serial numbers for job files
- Coordinate interdepartmental inventory transfers especially for HVAC New Construction
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Prior warehouse or HVAC industry experience is required
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Dependable self-motivated and able to work independently
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically active environment
- Warehouse is not climate controlled must be able to work in warm and cold temperatures
- Able to work overtime as needed
