Job Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct secondary market research using online databases industry resources AI and public data sources;
May prepare concise professional summaries highlighting findings relevant to small businesses and ASBTDC consultants;
Maintain and update geographic and customer segment profiles with demographic spending and business activity data;
Assist with market research components for SBIR/STTR proposals technology commercialization plans and provide related support to clients;
May create data visualizations and organize datasets from various internet sources;
Document client-related activities in ASBTDCs CRM system per documentation procedures;
Work cooperatively with staff to provide high-quality assistance and customer service as well as achieve ASBTDCs goals and mission;
Perform other duties as assigned in order to accomplish the goals and mission of the organization.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail;
Ability to collect interpret and summarize information;
Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally;
Ability to follow detailed verbal and written instructions;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word) and Adobe tools;
Must maintain client confidentiality and adhere to the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and ASBTDC Conflict of Interest standards;
Must adhere to all database subscription terms licensing agreements and usage guidelines to ensure compliance with institutional and vendor requirements.
Ability to work at the ASBTDC office on the UALR campus 45 days a week during business hours (8 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
