PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepares all menu items using established departmental policies and procedures. Assures presentation of all menu items adheres to established standards. Assures all menu items are prepared according to federal state and local nutritional standards and established policies and procedures. Provides services to cafeteria customers in a friendly and efficient manner. Receives payments from students/adults and operates the cash register system. Serves food that is the correct portion serving temperature and quality. Any substandard quality food must be brought to the attention of the Cafeteria/School Nutrition Director. Cleans the cafeteria including serving areas and equipment continually. Any other duties as assigned by the Superintendent-Director or his/her designee. WORK ENVIRONMENT:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
