Do you feel like exploring what product management is all about in one of the largest players in the roof window industry Then this is your chance! We are looking for a student assistant to support our Sloped Roof Windows team within the Global Product Management department at VELUX.
Your challenges
By joining our Sloped Roof Windows team in Global Product Management at our head office in Hrsholm you will become part of a talented group of 15 individuals in a key role within VELUX. This position functions within a dynamic and international setting where adaptability is crucial.
Within the team you will find an open enthusiastic and supportive environment that places a strong emphasis on both personal and professional growth. You will collaborate closely with the product managers in the team who will guide you throughout your journey.
Our primary aim is to lead and implement significant new development projects and enhancements to the current product range within the sloped roof window category. As a student assistant you will assist with various projects and initiatives work alongside different departments and aid the product managers in navigating the projects from the initial concept to launch. You will engage with numerous stakeholders making effective communication skills and a proactive attitude vital for success.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
- Assist in project/product management tasks and support the product management team.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather product knowledge.
- Help create and distribute product-related content.
- Ad hoc assignments coming from your teammates.
We anticipate that you will work 15-20 hours per week spending 1-2 days in Hrsholm with the option to work from home as needed.
Your qualifications
First and foremost we are looking for talents who thrive in an evolving and fast paced environment. Ideally you are in your last year of your Bachelors degree or first year of your Masters and ideally you are studying within Engineering Marketing Business Administration or similar.
Moreover we expect you to:
- Have the motivation to learn and grow in product management.
- Have the ability to grasp technical concepts and participate in technical discussions.
- Be able to work independently but also as part of a larger team.
- Possess strong communication skills.
- Have fluency in written and spoken English.
