Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.
- Ensure patient safety comfort and proper positioning during exams.
- Operate and maintain radiology equipment following departmental standards.
- Verify physician orders and document patient history as required.
- Follow infection control and radiation safety guidelines at all times.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare team members to provide accurate diagnostic results.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and imaging reports.
- Provide patient education on procedures and answer related questions.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- MRT License from the State of Texas (Required)
- ARRT(R) Certification (Required)
- Prior experience as an X-Ray Technologist
