Our client a multinational telecommunications technology company is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Scientist with a strong background in data visualization and business intelligence using Microsoft Power BI. This role will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable insights and compelling visual stories that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Design develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize key business metrics and trends.
- Extract transform and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and optimize data models within Power BI including the creation of calculated columns and measures using DAX.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions and visualizations.
- Perform in-depth data analysis to identify patterns anomalies and opportunities for improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences effectively communicating complex data insights.
- Ensure data governance and compliance standards are met in all data handling and reporting activities.
- Continuously explore and implement new features and best practices within Power BI.
Must have 90% of the following skills:
- Current Telecom Exp is a Must
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related quantitative field.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst with a strong focus on Power BI development.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI including dashboard creation data modeling DAX and Power Query.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational databases.
- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
- Experience with other data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g. Python R) is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
