Job Description
Title: Scrum Master
Location : Pittsburgh PA (Hybrid)
Type: Contract
NOTE: Scrum Master expertise and the cloud technology DevOps
Summary:-
- We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master with strong expertise in Agile methodologies DevOps practices and logistics domain knowledge. The role involves driving Agile delivery fostering cross-team collaboration and ensuring seamless integration of DevOps practices.
- The candidate will play a pivotal role in enabling digital transformation initiatives in supply chain freight management warehouse operations and transportation systems for a leading logistics client in the USA.
Key Responsibilities:-
- Serve as a servant-leader for Agile teams ensuring compliance with Scrum principles and best practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups Sprint Planning Retrospectives Reviews) and coach the team for continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product Owners and Business Stakeholders to refine and prioritize backlogs aligned with logistics business needs (fleet tracking shipment visibility warehouse automation last-mile delivery etc.).
- Promote DevOps culture by integrating CI/CD pipelines automated testing and continuous deployment to enhance delivery speed and quality.
- Collaborate with development QA and operations teams to streamline logistics software solutions such as Transportation Management Systems (TMS) Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Remove blockers and facilitate smooth delivery of features related to real-time tracking route optimization load planning and freight cost management.
- Track and present Agile metrics (velocity cycle time defect leakage release predictability) to business stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of Agile-DevOps collaboration within the logistics technology ecosystem.
- Support scaled Agile adoption (SAFe LeSS) across multiple logistics product teams.
Required Qualifications:
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM I/II certification.
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
- Domain knowledge in Logistics & Supply Chain (TMS WMS OMS fleet management freight forwarding shipping or last-mile delivery).
- Hands-on understanding of DevOps practices: CI/CD pipelines Infrastructure as Code (IaC) automated deployments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps Jenkins GitLab Jira Confluence Docker Kubernetes.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills to work with distributed Agile teams and business stakeholders in the logistics sector.
