Job Description:
- We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer with strong expertise in MATLAB/Simulink GT-Power Plant Modeling and Aftertreatment systems.
- The ideal candidate will play a key role in developing testing and validating control strategies to optimize system performance emissions and efficiency in advanced powertrain applications.
- Develop and implement control algorithms for aftertreatment and powertrain systems using MATLAB/Simulink.
- Build and maintain plant models in GT-Power and Simulink to support system simulations and validation.
- Design calibrate and optimize aftertreatment control strategies for compliance with emissions standards.
- Perform model-based development verification and validation of control functions.
- Analyze test data troubleshoot system issues and provide engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in calibration software and system integration.
- Prepare technical reports documentation and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical Electrical Controls or Automotive Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in controls development within automotive or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and model-based development workflows.
- Hands-on experience with GT-Power for engine/aftertreatment modeling.
- Knowledge of aftertreatment systems (DOC DPF SCR DEF dosing sensors etc.).
- Experience with plant model development validation and real-time implementation.
- Familiarity with calibration tools (e.g. INCA ATI Vision) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
