Job Description (US)
The Oracle Business Analyst OTM is a critical role in supporting and implementing our global Oracle Cloud ERP & OTM solution. The position will be our expert in understating and supporting the OTM functionality/workflow within the Oracle OTM value stream. OTM is the life blood of our transportation management system and flow and because of its complexity requires a focus on ensuring all freight is processing through this workflow and that we are continuously improving it.
This position will be heavily involved in production support but will also participate in ERP/OTM focused implementations at various business sites. This position must understand the integration of the ERP and OTM platform. Will also ensure global design is adhered to both on the project and with production support.
Key Deliverables
Resolve issues within the transportation management system (OTM)
Monitor orders throughout the process
Train and communicate to others within the organization on how to best avoid issues upstream that cause issues within OTM
Continuous improvement to our OTM solution
Design and configure the OTM system
Write process flows instructions and test plans
Test changes to OTM
Enter Change Tickets
Write training materials
Regular periodic maintenance of system configuration automation agents and various data aspects of the platform
Manage user roles configurations and setup within OTM in conjunction with Security and Controls
Key Activities & Responsibilities
Work oracle OTM issues
Configure Oracle Cloud OTM and understand ERP to OTM integrations
Determine and implement a continuous improvement plan for OTM
Test the Oracle System and related processes
Design and document systems solutions/specifications
Interpret business requirements and help the business prioritize
Design business processes
Train users both one on one and more formally in larger groups
Author functional specification documents
Design reports
Coordinate activities with other team members and the business
Collaborate on cross-functional activities
Enter and manage Oracle service requests
Provide 24 x 7 support during production cutover and go-live events
Work with various vendors
Manage user access and controls to and within OTM
To be successful in this role your experience and competencies are:
A BS/BA Degree in Computer Science Business or related field or equivalent and/or combination of training and experience as deemed sufficient by management.
8 years of experience as a business analyst and/or technical analyst
5 years of Oracle Cloud Fusion experience specifically with OTM
Additional oracle cloud experience around Inbound Shipping or freight markup is a plus
Has experience designing business processes.
Has experience designing systems solutions.
Has experience developing and executing test plans.
Experience coordinating project activities
Flexible and adaptable in prioritizing workloads coping with pressures deadlines and rapidly changing situations.
Strong communication skills including presentation skills.
Creative thinker results-oriented analytical mindset and a focused problem-solver.
