Role Overview
As CPO you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end procurement strategy. You will build strategic supplier partnerships ensure cost efficiency negotiate high-value contracts and establish robust procurement processes that align with our tech-first approach to construction. You must bring deep experience from a leading construction company and be fluent in either German or French to engage with local and regional suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead the overall procurement and supply chain strategy for the company.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers subcontractors and logistics partners across Europe.
- Collaborate with Engineering Project Management and Finance to align procurement with project timelines and budgets.
- Drive cost optimization negotiate long-term contracts and mitigate supply risks.
- Develop a digital procurement framework leveraging software tools to automate and track purchasing.
- Ensure compliance with legal safety and environmental regulations.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards for spend analysis vendor performance and procurement efficiency.
- Hire and build a high-performing procurement team as the company scales.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience in procurement/supply chain management in the construction industry.
- Proven leadership in procurement within a well-established construction firm
- Strong understanding of construction materials subcontracting equipment procurement and international sourcing.
- Track record of digital transformation or tech integration in procurement is a plus.
- Fluent in German or French (mandatory) with business proficiency in English.
- Excellent negotiation vendor management and analytical skills.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering Supply Chain Business or related field.
