Job Description
Title: Confluence Documentation Resource
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to create and implement a structured documentation framework within Confluence for our network across multiple sites. The primary focus is to establish templates and organization for as-built diagrams contact information runbooks and design guidelines. The resulting setup should be intuitive easy to navigate and seamlessly integrate into our standard build process. This role involves working closely with the network team to gather existing data convert designs into standardized templates and train the team on maintaining and expanding the documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop a structured conventions framework for documenting network details in Confluence including site-specific as-built diagrams contacts and network configurations.
Create standardized templates for site documentation runbooks and design guidelines to ensure consistency and ease of access.
Convert existing network design data into Lucid templates aligned with the new structure.
Collaborate with the network team to gather data understand site-specific details and accurately represent the current network state.
Pilot the documentation process on a subset of sites serving as an example and training model for the team to follow for remaining and new sites.
Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure smooth adoption of the new documentation structure.
Qualifications:
Strong experience with network documentation and designing structured documentation frameworks.
Experience using Confluence as a documentation platform.
Familiarity with Lucid chart or similar diagramming tools for network design templates.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with technical teams and gather site data.
Ability to create clear consistent documentation and templates that are easy to maintain and update.
