The Opportunity

Our client, a growing international business, is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to support the Group Financial Controller. This is a key role managing consolidations, AP/AR teams, and financial control across multiple entities, with exposure to both day-to-day operations and strategic projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong consolidation experience and proven team management skills to join a dynamic, forward-thinking organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Group Financial Controller with accurate and timely consolidated reporting across multiple entities.

• Lead and develop the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring efficiency and strong controls.

• Deliver monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and reporting packs.

• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, inter-company, and consolidations.

• Manage cashflow forecasting and reporting.

• Support the year-end audit and ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory requirements.

• Drive process improvements across the finance function.

• Act as a bridge between transactional teams and senior finance leadership.

Candidate Profile

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 3+ years' PQE.

• Strong consolidation experience within a multi-entity, international business.

• Previous experience managing AP and AR teams.

• Excellent technical and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.

• Confident communicator with the ability to partner across all levels of the business.

• Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused.

• Experience with FinancialForce is advantageous but not essential.
