NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is seeking two dynamic and experiencedManagers for our Finance Business Partneringteam to lead strategic financial advice and support across key business groups. These roles are pivotal to the high-performing finance function enabling NZTA to deliver on its strategic and operational financial objectives.
As a trusted advisor to Group General Managers and senior leaders youll provide expert financial guidance develop and implement financial plans and ensure alignment with NZTAs multi-year objectives. Youll lead a team of finance professionals fostering a culture of high performance collaboration and continuous improvement.

Were looking for strategic finance leaders who bring a strong blend of technical expertise commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement capability. Youll be confident navigating complex financial environments and simplifying strategic advice for diverse audiences with a solid understanding of public sector financial frameworks.
What youll bring:
The purpose of our financefunction is to enable NZTA to deliver its strategic and operational financial objectives and obligations through demonstrating sound financial and commercial acumen.
NZTA has one of the largest assets of the Crown (the state highway network) with a value around $90bn. This includes significant land holdings and a growing debt book currently at $3.5bn. NZTA also has one of the largest revenue and spend amounts of any organisation in NZ at c.a. $8bn per annum.
