CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Stroud Days - Contract Fulltime Salary up to 16.85ph - Highly experienced candidates salary considered.

My clients Is looking for a skilled CNC miller that can set and operate CNC machines in a production environment ensuring the top quality within given timescale.

The role:

Set and operate CNC machines using set up sheets selecting tooling.

Self-inspect including quality cleaning and de-burring.

Confidently interpret technical specifications and drawings

Continually assess tool condition and maintain as necessary.

Excellent attention to detail and possess the drive to learn and develop.

Team player with the ability to work using your own initiative.

The Person:

Motivated highly organised Machinist.

Experience working with Fanuc and/or Heidenhain controlled CNC Machinery (4 years)

Experience using a variety of inspection equipment including verniers callipers.

Experience in production machining environment.

Computer literate good numeracy and literacy skills.

Create and edit Machining programs Desirable

Aerospace AS9100 experience Desirable
