Job Description
DATTCO has an opening for a Shop Foreman for our School Bus Fleet Maintenance facility in East Hartford CT.

Primary responsibilities:
- Plan direct and coordinate the activities of the maintenance shop
- OSHA compliance
- Supervise technicians and maintenance personnel
- Work in coordination with school bus operations
- Maintain good customer relations
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DATTCOs policies and procedures and all applicable laws
- Ability to train coach and develop staff
Minimum requirements:
- Must have a minimum 3 years vehicle maintenance supervisory experience transportation experience preferred.
- Must be able to create teamwork environment.
- Excellent problem-solving techniques in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees management and customers.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Windows.
- Complete set of tools.
- Experience with school bus motor coach and truck repair.
- Lifting up to 75 pounds.
