Job Summary

DATTCO has an opening for a Shop Foreman for our School Bus Fleet Maintenance facility in East Hartford CT.

Primary responsibilities:

Plan direct and coordinate the activities of the maintenance shop
OSHA compliance
Supervise technicians and maintenance personnel
Work in coordination with school bus operations
Maintain good customer relations
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with DATTCOs policies and procedures and all applicable laws
Ability to train coach and develop staff

Minimum requirements:

Must have a minimum 3 years vehicle maintenance supervisory experience transportation experience preferred.
Must be able to create teamwork environment.
Excellent problem-solving techniques in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to communicate effectively with employees management and customers.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Windows.
Complete set of tools.
Experience with school bus motor coach and truck repair.
Lifting up to 75 pounds.
