About MicroAire:

MicroAire Surgical Instruments a mid-sized medical device company in Charlottesville Virginia is seeking a 40 hours a week temporary (up to 3 months) Cleanroom Packager who is detail-oriented and reliable to package and properly label medical device product in a state of the art cleanroom environment. If you enjoy team collaboration completing detailed repetitive work maintaining focus and accuracy while working in a unique environment this could be a good role for you. Hours are Monday Friday 6:00 am 2:30 pm. This assignment is for up to 3 months.

About the Job:

Cleanroom packagers perform meticulous cleaning inspection and packaging of medical products within a highly controlled environment known as a cleanroom. This work is crucial for ensuring the products are free from contamination before being sterilized and sent to hospitals or surgical suites. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.

Onboarding: new Cleanroom Operators work under the guidance of a fully qualified team member for each packaging station until qualified for the work.

Experience:

Experience with work that requires good manual dexterity and the ability to complete repetitive tasks with high accuracy required. Cleanroom or medical experience a plus.

Skills:

Ability to work in a close collaborative team environment.

Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Job requires good close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less).
