Sr Assoc Quality Engineering :This role is a focal point for quality activities in Philadelphia and then moving over to CamdenNJ at end of Quality Engineer supports the day to day operations and is responsible for tactical issue resolution for quality issues.
Essential Responsibilities
This position will have responsibilities and perform tasks in the following areas:
Implement IMS policies procedures and standards for Quality Management that drive a preventive zero defect culture of quality and customer satisfaction.
Analyze defect data and implement data driven corrective actions
Drive continued improvement of the quality system and manufacturing processes
Present corrective actions and process improvements to internal and external audiences
Review interpret and ensure compliance to company policies and procedures engineering drawings customer contract requirements and product test procedures
Train early career professionals within the team
Lead containment efforts of non-conforming material
Interface within the quality engineering team and across the various functions within their assigned program
Revise and improve manufacturing work instructions resulting in measurable impact
Initiate and review engineering design changes
Provide return to print engineering dispositions for non-conforming product
Coordinate material review board (MRB) dispositions for non-conforming product
Perform internal audits of assigned programs and support in the preparation for and execution of external audits
Partner with Engineering to identify Critical to Quality (CTQ) test and inspection requirements.
Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to implement test and inspection plans and processes.
Partner with Supplier Quality to ensure applicable requirements are flowed down to subcontractors and managed appropriately.
Generate reports and analyze program quality performance data and drive actions to improve site key process indicators.
Self-starter able to pioneer projects incorporate managements vision and lead positive change.
Perform other Quality Engineering tasks as assigned to support Maritime Power Philadelphia.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role is $63500 - $117500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
