BACKGROUND
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) squad reports to the Sourcing Procurement and Vendor Management tribe in Finance. It plays a pivotal role in enabling Euroclears SPVM transformation.
Acting as an enabler and advisor to all Sourcing Procurement and Vendor Management squads the CoE delivers capabilities in analytics policy and process design regulatory requirements tooling market intelligence and procurement best practices. It is the engine behind SPVM excellence driving innovation consistency and continuous improvement across the SPVM group.
TRIBE
The SPVM Tribe has Euroclear Group mandate is part of the Group Spend Effectiveness Division. Its mission is aligned to the group strategic ambition while balancing cost regulatory expectations and risk mitigation. It is the One-Stop Shop fall all things suppliers.
JOB DETAILS
Level and Reporting Structure
This CoE Advisor position reports to the Head of SPVM CoE. It is ranked as level 6 role.
Location
The position is based in Brussels.
KEY ACTIVITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Capability Building: Design and implement new capabilities within the CoE to support procurement squads in analytics data management process optimisation tooling regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Lean Procurement: Embed lean management principles into procurement processes to drive efficiency eliminate waste and enhance value delivery.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to streamline procurement workflows ensuring alignment with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Tooling Strategy: Define and evolve the procurement tooling landscape to support digitalisation and automation. Contribute to the SPVM target architecture vision.
- Policy & Governance: Develop and maintain procurement policies and governance frameworks that ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with sourcing and vendor management teams to identify needs co-create solutions and ensure adoption of CoE capabilities.
- Knowledge Management: Curate and disseminate procurement best practices market insights and benchmarking data.
- Change Leadership: Champion cultural and methodological change across the procurement function fostering innovation and agility.
PERSON SPECIFICATION
- Proven experience in procurement sourcing or vendor management within a complex organisation.
- Strong track record in process improvement lean management or operational excellence.
- Ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable capabilities and tools.
- Experience in designing and implementing procurement policies and governance frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with procurement analytics and reporting.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Comfortable working in an agile cross-functional environment.
- Cultural openness pragmatism and a drive to simplify and improve.
