The opportunity
We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to join our team and lead our efforts in driving growth and customer satisfaction. Join our team as a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with a passion for both sales and marketing.
How youll make an impact
Supervising tender management of the GIS product line and devising complete offers
Functionally leading our global sales operations team and other relevant functions to ensure full consistency of the offers (technical and commercial)
Leading the technical and commercial negotiations on behalf of the GIS factory
Performing risk reviews and setting up cost calculations
Assuming responsibility for an allocated region as the primary contact person for all GIS sales-related questions
Preparing production forecasts and providing support in preparing sales key figures (budget)
Holding customer workshops sales trainings and participating in trade fairs
Your background
Professional experience in technical sales project management product management key account management or similar areas of expertise
Degree (Bachelor/Master) in a technical/engineering discipline and ideally further qualification in business administration
Confidence on all customer levels and proven experience in the energy industry or manufacturing and/or system business (product know-how in the field of substations and/or switchgear desirable)
Entrepreneurial mindset assertiveness and ability to convince.
Understanding of customers and sales channels
Outstanding leadership and communication skills
Eager to develop yourself support your peers and our customers
Availability to travel
