Your role and responsibilities:

As a Sr. Project Engineer you will demonstrate leadership communicate business goals and provide support in team management and coordination for engineered this role you will drive the performance and quality of an engineering team to ensure that all executed activities meet the required short-term and long-term business goals.

For this position we are open to candidates being full-remote or based out of either our Houston TX office or Lake Mary FL office.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions group in the United States.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Qualifications for the role:

• Extensive Experience with ABB Zenon/ZEE600: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in designing developing and deploying SCADA solutions using ABB Zenon/ZEE600 (or similar) including dynamic HMI creation alarming trending and report generation.
• Control System Architecture & Integration: Proven expertise in end-to-end control system design and integrationcovering PLCs HMIs communication protocols (IEC 61850 Modbus DNP3 OPC) and remote telemetry units.
• Advanced PLC Programming Skills: Proficient in PLC programming using platforms such as ABB AC500/PM series Allen Bradley Siemens and Emerson with experience in implementing logic for power and industrial automation systems.
• Testing Commissioning and Troubleshooting: Strong track record of successfully executing FAT/SAT site commissioning and root-cause analysis in complex SCADA and automation environments.
• Networking: Solid understanding of industrial networking VLANs firewalls and cybersecurity principles as applied to SCADA environments.
• Industry Standards & Compliance: Deep knowledge of UL IEEE and IEC standards relevant to control systems and automation including familiarity with NERC-CIP for power projects.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicants qualifications and experience this position is expected to pay between $79800 and $127680 annually.
