The Opportunity
Adobe Real-Time Customer Data Platform (Real-Time CDP) helps companies bring together known and anonymous data from multiple enterprise sources in order to create customer profiles that can be used to provide personalized customer experiences across all channels and devices in real time.
You are more than welcome in our group of engineers who build the systems connecting Real-Time CDP to a large ecosystem of partners from on-site or in-app personalization to email paid media call centers connected devices and more.
In collaboration with a larger distributed team of product and engineering experts we innovate craft and operate distributed micro services and BigData processing applications powering hundreds of partner integrations.
What youll Do
Design build and deliver distributed resilient scalable highly available services for BigData applications
Deploy monitor and maintain the services you build
Use brand new AI tools to boost your software engineering efficiency
Apply software quality principles by performing code reviews assuring code coverage and analyze cost efficiency for developed code
Perform on-call activities on rotation with the rest of the team
Collaborate with other teams product management and customer engineering
What you need to succeed
3 years of commercial software development experience
Proven understanding of OOP functional programming and software lifecycle
Advanced code development skills in Java and Scala (or other JVM language)
Experience developing and maintaining micro-services REST APIs CI/CD pipelines source control tools DevOps principles and observability tools
Experience with Apache Spark and Kafka is a big plus
Able to communicate technical details clearly to all levels of the organization. Excellent written and spoken English.
