About the Role: IT Network Infrastructure Engineer (APM Terminals)
As part of the Regional IT Service Delivery team you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our IT network infrastructure to ensure 24/7 system availability. This position focuses on maintaining upgrading and standardizing network environments while driving modernization cybersecurity compliance and operational excellence.
You will enable robust and secure IT services by:
- Managing IT and OT network layers.
- Implementing ITSM-based support models.
- Driving automation and standardization initiatives.
- Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards.
In This Role You Will:
- Support the Head of IT in executing infrastructure upgrades and modernization plans.
- Implement and manage IT network infrastructure changes across operating facilities.
- Maintain and monitor networking environments ensuring high availability and performance.
- Resolve incidents within agreed SLAs and execute changes without unplanned disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity configurations and standards.
- Drive business continuity redundancy and disaster recovery processes.
- Collaborate with automation teams to support hardware fixes and integration.
- Lead troubleshooting for major incidents and support root cause analysis.
- Stay updated on emerging networking technologies and advise on applicability.
What You Bring:
- Education:University degree or higher vocational certification in Network Engineering Computer Science or related field.
- Experience:
- 5 years managing complex network platforms and large-scale implementations.
- 5 years in project coordination and process documentation.
- Operational Technology hardware and integration experience.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of Cisco hardware (CCNA required CCIE preferred).
- Expertise in TCP/IP Profibus ProfiNET ASI CAN-Bus.
- Wireless connectivity and LTE environments.
- ITIL V4 certification recommended.
- Additional Skills:
- Strong project management and vendor coordination experience.
- Familiarity with Lean Continuous Improvement and Agile methodologies.
- Advanced data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
