Location: JTI Malvar Batangas
Reporting to: Department Manager
Are you a skilled machinist with a passion for precision and craftsmanship Join our dynamic team as a Workshop Machinist and bring high-quality components to this role youll operate advanced tools and machinery to produce critical parts collaborate with engineers and play a vital role in ensuring production excellence.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes milling machines grinders and CNC machines
Read and interpret blueprints technical drawings and schematics
Inspect parts to meet precision standards and tolerances
Performpreventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
Ensurecompliance with safety protocols engineering standards and EHS guidelinesSet up and calibrate machinery for production runsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement projectsLiaise with external service providers and ensure contracts and system changes follow required processes
YOU ARE:
- College diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus
3 years of machining experience in a workshop or manufacturing setting
Proficient in precision measurement hand and power tools
Familiarity with PLC SCADA HMI systems is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issues
Excellent teamwork communication and time management skills.
