At Royal Canin engaging pet owners with meaningful inspiring and trustworthy content is at the heart of how we build lasting relationships. As the Global Pet Owner Engagement Content Manager you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering content across our key digital touchpoints including CRM Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) and Consumer Care.
In this role you will act as the global reference point for all pet owner engagement content: from planning and producing compelling digital assets to ensuring regional markets can easily access adapt and maximize their use. You will also oversee our global content storage and management system (DAM) supporting agencies and internal stakeholders with guidance training and best practices. Looking ahead this role will further expand to include content strategies and materials designed to engage our Business-to-Business audiences reinforcing Royal Canins leadership in pet health nutrition.
Education & Experience: Degree in Marketing Communications Veterinary Science or related field with 5 years in content or digital marketing ideally focused on customer acquisition and engagement.
Content Expertise: Strong editorial copywriting and storytelling skills with the ability to craft content that informs inspires and converts pet owners.
Strategic & Operational Balance: Able to define content strategies while also driving hands-on execution from briefing to delivery across CRM D2C and Consumer Care touchpoints.
Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of managing multiple projects and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams agencies and global/regional stakeholders.
Digital Marketing Know-How: Familiar with digital channels (social media email SEO) content distribution strategies and analytics tools to measure impact and optimize performance.
Content Management & Tools: Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and ownership of Digital Asset Management (DAM) platforms driving adoption training and best practice sharing.
Innovation & Agility: Comfortable working with ambiguity exploring new approaches (including AI-driven creative solutions) and continuously seeking better ways of engaging audiences.
Languages: Fluency in English required; French is a strong asset.
Define and execute content strategies in collaboration with CRM D2C and Consumer Care teams to effectively communicate Royal Canins health initiatives to pet owners.
Create and deliver engaging content (articles videos images etc.) that resonates with pet owners aligns with brand standards and drives engagement across digital platforms.
Oversee the content production pipeline from briefing to delivery coordinating with internal teams and agencies to ensure high-quality outputs on time and within budget.
Lead the briefing and review process ensuring clarity of objectives audiences and messages and securing approvals from brand regulatory and legal stakeholders.
Ensure quality and consistency of all content from concept to execution acting as the owner of strategic pet health content across channels.
Analyze performance and impact of content activations gather insights from stakeholders and audiences and continuously optimize strategies and processes.
Manage agency and stakeholder relationships driving efficiency accountability and strong collaboration with global and regional marketing teams.
Own content storage and governance by maintaining the centralized repository (DAM) ensuring adoption training and effective use across markets.
You will work in a multicultural environment (more than 40 nationalities) and where your dog will be welcomed by more than 100 other Associates dogs at the office!
You will work in a unique campus which gathers more than 800 Associates working for: the international HQ the French subsidiary two laboratories a kennel and a cattery with more than 200 cats & dogs and finally the most important factory of the Royal Canin group
Since 2017 Royal Canin has supported the K-DOG program of the Curie Institute which trains dogs to detect breast cancer via olfaction
