Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Were looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join a fast-growing healthtech startup thats transforming how patients and providers communicate through AI-driven voice and text solutions.
This is a hybrid role based in San Francisco (45 days per week in-office) where youll play a key role in scaling the platform shipping 0-to-1 products and solving complex challenges in healthcare technology.

What youll be doing:
- Expand AI voice and LLM stack to power natural patient conversations
- Build new communication modalities (voice SMS and beyond)
- Create reusable and customizable agent frameworks
- Integrate with new EMR systems to streamline provider workflows
- Join customer calls and help solve real-world healthcare challenges
- Operate in ambiguity set priorities and execute on key goals
What youll need:
- 48 years full-stack engineering experience (backend-heavy: 7080%)
- Proficiency in Python; experience with Django & React a plus
- Track record of shipping 0-to-1 products in startups or high-growth environments
- Strong product ownership and customer-first mindset
- Experience with LLM APIs / AI agents highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills able to explain tradeoffs and rationale clearly
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and deliver results with minimal guidance
Bonus points for:
- Prior experience in healthtech or AI-driven startups
- Background as a startup founder or early-stage builder
- Education from a top CS program (Stanford MIT Berkeley CMU Waterloo etc.)
