Job Summary

Job Title: Associate Integration / Test Engineer

Job Location: Northampton MA

Job Description:

The purpose of the Integration and Test engineer position is to synthesize and define test processes for complex electro-optical and electro-mechanical systems. Coordinate assembly level through system level integration and test activities and ensure that technical obligations are fulfilled.

Essential Functions:

  • Perform systems engineering tasks for both manual and automated test processes
  • Develop test plans test procedures requirements traceability test reports test flow and test case design and implementation
  • Execute system CCA and component level functional testing and document results
  • Use software tools and perform scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
  • Setup configure and document hardware and software systems under test including loading software onto multiple devices to perform verification and validation
  • Perform root cause analysis and correction action creation
  • Support Operations in failure trend analysis and ensure failure trends are quickly and effectively identified and resolved
  • May provide technical consultation to internal organizations and/or customers
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts
  • Capable of traveling domestically and internationally up to 10%

Qualifications:

  • To be eligible applicants must be pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Computer Science Systems Engineering or related field or have completed their Bachelors degree within the last 12 months regardless of age.

  • Ability to obtain a US DOD Secret Clearance which requires US Citizenship.

  • Understanding of systems engineering concepts
  • Knowledge of Electro-Optical Imaging testing including optical Signal to Noise Ratio MTF MRTD boresight alignment optical distortion relative illumination ELRF testing and alignments video format compliance. General knowledge of multi-spectral cameras such as visible SWIR MWIR
  • Knowledge of Broadband RF/Microwave and Antenna testing for injected and radiated tests including S-Parameters Noise Figure Compression
  • Knowledge of Environmental Qualification test such as Thermal Structureborne Noise Hydrostatic Pressure Self-Compatibility EMI test Vibration tests
  • Knowledge of Line of sight testing inclusive of multi-axis stabilization tests line of sight accuracy support of mechanism integration with various actuators encoders motors focus mechanisms
  • Knowledge of communications systems software languages automated software
  • Desired skills include requirements analysis and verification software scripting and usage of automated testing frameworks and applications
  • Project and team leadership experience
  • Presentation and communication skills (Verbal/written/visual)
  • Problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines
  • Ability to productively contribute work ideas and collaboration as part of a team
  • The use of safety equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas
  • Must be able to sit or stand for up to nine hours

  • Concentrated mental/visual demand

In compliance with pay transparency requirements the salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $67000 MIN - $123500 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
