Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

About Us:

Strides Therapy & Educational Services a reputable and client-centered pediatric multidisciplinary practice with two locations within Anne Arundel County in Maryland. Our team consists of Speech-Language Pathologists Speech-Language Pathology Assistants and Special Education Teachers. We emphasize using evidence-based personalized care. We are seeking a Clinical Director Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team.

Position Overview:

The Clinical Director will serve as a leader and mentor within our dynamic clinical team. This role includes a reduced direct treatment caseload allowing time for evaluations clinical supervision and support of SLPAs Clinical Fellows fellow SLPs and graduate students. The ideal candidate is a leader and seasoned clinician who is passionate about guiding others ensuring clinical excellence and helping shape the direction of our services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and mentor Clinical Fellows (CF) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)

  • Assist in refining policies procedures and clinical standards across the practice
  • Conduct speech-language evaluations and provide treatment
  • Provide leadership clinical oversight mentorship and professional development support to the SLP team

  • Collaborate with administrative and clinical staff to ensure high-quality ethical and efficient care delivery

  • Lead regular clinical team meetings and support evidence-based practice implementation

  • Assist in refining policies procedures and clinical standards across the practice

  • Participate in performance reviews goal setting and continuing education planning for team members

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Maryland state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) unless a CF.
  • Past leadership roles is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience in private practice or outpatient settings preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and documentation practices is a plus.
  • Dedication to providing culturally competent and client-centered care.
