Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout

Are you a Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care Mount Hospital is looking to employ experienced Registered Nurses for our Scrub Scout team.

Key functions include:

Established and maintained positive relationships with patients families staff and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and cultures

Provide exceptional customer service and person-centred and evidence-based care

Provide supervision and preceptorship to Enrolled Nurses graduates and students and AINs/PSAs

Worked as a valued member of an inter-disciplinary team managed own work time and personal well-being

Lead successful quality improvement and safety management project/s to deliver desired outcomes

Involved in clinical and compliance auditing

About You

You will hold a minimum of 3 years full-time scrub scout experience in general and/or urology. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a thorough understanding of patient care in a private hospital setting.

To be successful in this role you will:

Have AHPRA registration (essential)

Previous experience with Orthopaedics / Neurosurgery (Essential)

Have relevant post-graduate qualifications (desirable)

Demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients within the perioperative complex.

Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Implementing strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated to daily activities
