Full Time 6 months fixed term contract
Were looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to become a part of our team in Nuneaton. Are you passionate about moving things forward being hands-on to find solutions and supporting a team that crafts quality dairy products
Here at out Nuneaton site we package and cut our cheese ready for distribution across the UK. Our other sites manufacture the products such as Cathedral City Clover and Frylight
How you will make contributions that matter...
- Production Data Recording: Collating and recording timely and accurate production information on a daily and weekly basis for the Prepack lines in the new Nuneaton factory.
- Weekly Reconciliations: Producing accurate and timely weekly reconciliations for production through the new Prepack factory ensuring the site operates within its budgetary constraints.
- Stock Management: Assisting with the management and integrity of stocks including Cheese WIP Finished Goods and packaging ensuring all stock is correctly transacted through the system.
- Operational Collaboration: Creating a close working relationship with the Operational teams running the lines to ensure material data recorded is accurate.
- Wastage Reporting: Producing accurate and timely weekly factory wastage reports for operational analysis and performance improvement.
- Capacity & Volume Planning: Assisting with factory capacity analysis and volume planning as required.
- Purchase Order Process: Managing the PO process for areas of the Prepack factory ensuring timely order raising and receipting to support accurate invoice processing (Overheads / Engineering Spares / Agency Labour).
- Budget & Forecast Support: Assisting the Management Accountant in preparing elements of the Prepack budget and monthly forecasts.
You are best suited for the role if you
- Studying for or completed a financial professional qualification AAT/CIMA/ACCA.
- Experienced in working in a Finance Team.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel to advanced level (plus experience of AX Dynamics will be an advantage)
- Effective liaising with all levels of staff and management.
- Experienced working within tight deadlines in a financial environment.
- Willing to challenge and develop factory process improvements where necessary.
