Responsibilities
As our Medior Financial Accountant you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy compliance and efficiency within a fast-growing scale-up. Working closely with the CFO and Office Manager you will handle day-to-day accounting as well as more analytical and controlling tasks. Beyond the numbers you will have the opportunity to contribute to improving systems streamlining processes and building a scalable financial foundation that supports Intelics rapid growth. In practice this means:
Manage monthly quarterly and annual closings and ensure timely reporting.
Prepare analyze and present financial reports that support strategic decision-making.
Process and reconcile general ledger bank and journal entries with accuracy.
Prepare review and file VAT and other tax returns ensuring compliance.
Support the preparation of annual financial statements and liaise with external auditors.
Actively contribute to the optimization of financial systems processes and internal controls.
Job requirements
What You Will Bring
You are a proactive financial professional who combines accuracy with a hands-on mindset. You take ownership of your work move easily between day-to-day accounting and analytical tasks and have a structured approach that ensures reliability in everything you deliver. With a sharp eye for detail and a focus on continuous improvement you help ensure that our financial processes run smoothly and provide the insights the business needs to make informed decisions.
This includes:
A completed Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
35 years of experience in financial accounting or administration.
Strong knowledge of Dutch GAAP; IFRS is a plus.
Experience with VAT tax filings and statutory reporting.
Proficiency with Excel and accounting software (Exact Online is a plus).
Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage).

Month-end closings are delivered accurately and on time.
Financial reports and analyses actively support management decisions.
VAT and tax filings are submitted correctly and without errors.
You have improved at least one key financial process or tool for greater efficiency.
