GetGrid is a decentralized proxy network that lets individuals monetize their unused internet bandwidth. By installing GetGrids browser extension or desktop application users can securely share idle bandwidth and earn rewards. These rewards come from companies including AI firms that need access to public web data for training models and other purposes. The platform prioritizes user privacy by only utilizing unused bandwidth and never accessing personal data. GetGrids mission is to transform idle internet resources into valuable assets supporting the digital economy while offering users a passive income stream.
Your Responsibilities:
Write clean maintainable code and develop new features. Ensure new functionality is well-tested.
Support the entire product lifecycle: review code troubleshoot issues and analyze product behavior.
Contribute to scaling and strengthening the GetGrid ecosystem. Propose technical solutions and review those from team members.
Address infrastructural incidents and implement mitigation strategies.
Participate in code reviews engage in technical discussions and contribute to building a strong engineering culture.
What Were Looking For:
Go: Minimum of 3 years professional experience.
Kubernetes: Hands-on experience; advanced knowledge is a plus.
Redis: Solid experience with caching; multilevel caching is a plus.
Databases: Experience with relational databases (Postgres) and vertical databases (Clickhouse).
High-load systems: Experience highly desired.
Network protocols: Knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
Python: Not required but highly desirable.
