Job Description

Sales Account Manager
Location: South of England - Remote Role (regional travel required)
Salary: 32-35k plus Bonus OTE 70k

Our client a leading provider of software hardware and services is looking for a driven Sales Account Manager to join their growing team.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial the successful candidate will be responsible for selling software solutions transaction services hardware and associated services. The role carries accountability for meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets within an allocated region.

You will be tasked with generating new business through a variety of channels including direct sales to leads (both supplied and self-sourced) cold calling sales campaigns and networking across the addition you will be responsible for managing third-party distribution channels as well as agreed national and regional accounts.

Key Requirements

  • Proven sales experience ideally within software solutions.

  • Degree or equivalent qualifications preferred.

  • Strong IT skills particularly MS Office; experience with CRM platforms such as Zoho would be advantageous.

  • Experience working with enterprise software solutions and large complex organisations.

  • Solid background in pipeline management and sales processes.

  • Knowledge of the UK health and fitness industry is desirable.

  • Flexibility to travel including overnight stays and occasional international travel.

  • Excellent communicator with strong negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Confident in a challenger-style sales approach with exceptional presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Commercially astute with the ability to understand industry trends and identify opportunities for technology solutions.

  • Innovative thinker with a strategic mindset and problem-solving ability.

  • Experienced in developing long-term account strategies.

  • Collaborative and able to build strong working relationships with clients colleagues and third parties.

  • Results-driven with determination to close deals and achieve targets.

  • Highly motivated organised and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ambition to grow personally and professionally as the business continues to expand.
