The Store Manager oversees daily store operations staff management and customer satisfaction. This role is accountable for financial performance operational compliance and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities
Manage store staff and operations.
Ensure revenue and profitability goals are met.
Maintain compliance with company policies and Virginia regulations.
Lead customer service initiatives and store presentations.
Day-to-Day Duties
Supervise sales reps service staff and administrative personnel.
Conduct daily huddles and weekly team meetings.
Monitor KPIs including sales productivity and customer satisfaction.
Handle escalated customer concerns.
Oversee scheduling timekeeping and payroll submissions.
Maintain inventory accuracy and shop cleanliness.
Approve transactions discounts and service exceptions.
Report financial and operational results to senior management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required; bachelors degree preferred.
5 years of retail management experience preferably automotive.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities.
Financial and operational acumen.
Preferred Qualifications
Commercial tire dealership management experience.
Knowledge of Virginia labor and safety regulations.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Store profitability.
Employee turnover and engagement.
Customer satisfaction scores.
Operational compliance.
Work Environment
Reports to the General Manager.
Store-based full-time with extended hours as needed.
Requires standing walking and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
