Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the IT & Operations departments covering business operational support system administration and IT infrastructure.
- Oversee the performance maintenance and security of core systems ensuring optimal uptime and minimal disruption to business operations.
- Partner closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support day-to-day operations and future technology enhancements.
- Ensure systems and processes comply with relevant financial regulations and internal policies.
- Drive continuous improvements across IT operations and proactively identify opportunities for automation and efficiency.
- Provide timely support and solutions to resolve technology issues impacting end-users.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science or a related field
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant IT experience
- Solid exposure to business operational support network and system administration and infrastructure management
- Prior experience in a regulated environment (e.g. MiCA DORA GDPR etc.) preferably within financial services is highly preferred
- Technical background understanding cloud technologies (Saas PaaS IaaS) basic AWS knowledge basic understanding of microservice architecture principles CI/CD and SDLC understanding
- Professional experience in the IT environment - ideally gained experience in IT Service Continuity management and/or Business Continuity Management.
- Ability to speak with non-technical colleagues ability to transform technical risks to business risks and vice versa
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain hands-on when needed
- Analytical thinking ability making business conclusions from technical details
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) Chinese or EU-based language (e.g. Czech) is a plus
