Job Description

Position Title: Facility Solutions Associate II
Location: San Diego CA
Position Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Position Overview
The Facility Solutions Associate II is responsible for executing processes and deliverables related to facility services and operations. This role involves advanced work in reviewing drawings and specifications developing Master Equipment Lists (MEL) preparing Pre-Functional Checklists (PFC) managing training sessions overseeing asset QR tagging and ensuring operational readiness for facility projects.
Key Responsibilities
    • Lead pre-design and planning of commissioning processes
    • Develop and maintain the Master Equipment List (MEL)
    • Manage commissioning activities and construction schedules
    • Execute asset QR tagging and cataloging
    • Document and log field observations
    • Verify systems and components meet project requirements
    • Support resolution of project issues
    • Manage training sessions including videography coordination
    • Consult on operational readiness and project closeout
    • Maintain CMMS workflow and process coordination
    • Conduct data entry validation and reporting
    • Support warranty management
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders
Must-Have Qualifications
    • Bachelors degree in engineering construction facilities management or related field
    • 6 years of experience in operations mobile service or retro commissioning MEPF coordination commissioning or systems start-up
    • Knowledge of ASHRAE standards and codes
    • Valid drivers license
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical Requirements
    • Light work: exert up to 25 lbs occasionally and up to 10 lbs frequently
    • Regular walking kneeling sitting crouching reaching stooping and typing
    • Frequent use of computers office equipment and communication tools
    • Ability to drive as required for job duties
    • Occasional exposure to outdoor conditions and varying temperatures
