Job Description
Role: Systems Architect (Must Have Medicaid State Department Exp)
Location: Local to Concord New Hampshire (Hybrid)
Scope of Work: The Division of Medicaid Services (Department) is seeking responses to this Request for Proposals (RFP or solicitation) from qualified to provide Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES) Staff Augmentation Services to support the Department with additional information systems and information technology support staff needed to facilitate the implementation and operation of MES modules.
The Systems Architect defines solutions to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Establishes application architecture at the system component/service level.
- Guides and mentors other team members. May execute complex development tasks as a contributor to key projects.
- Works across the full development team on select initiatives to establish standards and practice improvements.
- Engage with business stakeholders and IS personnel to define system scope and objectives.
- Develop and maintain technical and architectural designs for assigned applications.
- Mentor and provide guidance to team members. Define key system components in detail as required. Consult on and contribute to complex development efforts; review document enforce and model standards and best practices to others.
- Establish roadmaps and plans for system improvement and architectural evolution.
- Lead and facilitate standards and practices improvement initiatives.
- Participate in technical strategy planning with other development and Information Security (IS) leaders.
Required Skills :
- Bachelors Degree or higher with five (5) to eight (8) years of experience at least five (5) of which would be in projects with similar size and complexity.
- Works as part of a team of developers as a team lead.
- Supervises one or more teams.
