The role
We are on the lookout for an experienced and motivated Lead Software this role you will be responsible for the overall design and technical success of software projects from initial concept through to delivery ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. This includes defining the system architecture guiding development teams on implementation and making key decisions on tools frameworks and technologies. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring scalability security and performance while collaborating with stakeholders steering the projects technical direction and ensuring overall client satisfaction and project success.
How youll make an impact
You are responsible for engineering purpose-built business applications for international clients. Youll be involved in the whole lifecycle of taking an idea from building to going live with a product.
You take over the technical management of teams from kick-off to rollout and are in close contact with the project management.
With your leadership skills you will win over inspire and mobilize your project team and our customers for ideas.
By coaching your team members in Software Engineering and Architecture and in the application of agile principles you will make a decisive contribution to the success of a wide range of projects.
With your skills and experience you will further develop our Zhlke network of experts and work on group-wide initiatives for the continuous improvement of software development.

Whats Important to Us
You have a degree (FH Uni ETH or similar) in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
You have at least five years of experience as a Software Engineer and/or Architect
You have practical experience with the design of software systems following a methodological approach using concepts like DDD and hexagonal architecture.
You have practical experience with full-stack development in ecosystem. You are experienced in modern web development frameworks like React or Angular. You have a DevOps mindset and understand high code quality and automated testing as crucial.
You bring convincing leadership qualities and a coaching and mentoring mentality as well as a growth mindset and the willingness to learn continuously.
You are motivated to achieve ambitious goals in a team and to be in direct contact with the customer.
You are an excellent communicator and are fluent in German and English (at least C1 level)
