The opportunity

Hitachi Energy High Voltage Products is renowned worldwide as a specialist for power transmission and distribution. The Service unit is responsible for the worldwide after sales support of generator circuit-breaker (GCB) systems and gas insulated switchgears (GIS) including training installation and commissioning scheduled maintenance added value services troubleshooting extensions retrofits and replacements.

As a Service Team Leader Installation you play a key role in shaping the success of your team. This position offers the opportunity to foster individual development strengthen collaboration and drive performance. Youll be responsible for identifying growth opportunities mentoring team members and creating an environment where everyone can thrive.

How youll make an impact

Leading a team of around 10 Field service engineers in Switzerland
Plan and coordinate team resources
Identify and support individual development paths
Build a collaborative and high-trust team environment
Drive team development through on-site visits
Support site service through internal projects
Prepare cost estimates for new installation projects
As People Manager you will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines

Your background

Degree in engineering industrial management or equivalent experience
Proven managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of relevant safety and quality standards
Fluency in written and spoken German and English
Experience with Gas insulated switchgears and their installation
