The opportunity
As Consolidation Output Lead you will head the global team responsible for producing consolidated financial statements for Hitachi Energys business and group reporting. This is a pivotal role that combines technical accounting expertise data management under tight deadlines and cross-functional collaboration. You will also contribute to transformational and technology-driven initiatives within the finance function.
How youll make an impact
Deliver high-quality sub-consolidated reporting to our HQ in Japan driving process efficiencies and coordinating with internal stakeholders.
Ensure accurate and compliant reporting of both routine and exceptional transactions across global reporting units.
Oversee the preparation and analysis of key financial reports including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Lead the review of consolidation-specific items such as equity CTA intra-Hitachi Energy reporting goodwill acquisitions and divestments.
Manage and develop the consolidation output team ensuring effective task allocation and prioritization.
Drive special projects focused on reporting tools process improvements and standardization.
Ensure timely execution of internal controls and support internal and external audit processes related to consolidated financial statements.
Your background
Bachelors degree in Accounting Economics or Business Administration.
At least 10 years of experience in accounting and/or financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and consolidation tools/processes.
Strong operational accounting experience; Tagetik expertise is a plus
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
Flexible collaborative and solution-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to compliance and accuracy.
Comfortable working under pressure and across diverse international teams with tight closing deadlines.
