Job Description
Cannavigia is at the forefront of the legal cannabis industry offering cutting-edge software and consulting services that ensure transparency traceability and compliance. We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our Finance department. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who enjoys balancing detail-oriented bookkeeping with strategic financial thinking.
Tasks
What Youll Do
- Develop and maintain monthly quarterly and annual financial reports
- Manage day-to-day accounting tasks (accounts payable/receivable bank reconciliations payroll coordination)
- Act as a sparring partner to the COO on financial matters (budgeting forecasting cash flow planning investor reporting)
- Identify financial trends and opportunities for cost savings or operational improvements
- Oversee accurate bookkeeping (Bexio)
- Support in administrative tasks related to financial contracts vendor management and documentation control
Requirements
Skill Set Were Looking For
- Minimum 5 years experience in accounting financial reporting and/or controlling
- Proven ability to work autonomously and proactively identify opportunities for improvement
- Strong command of accounting tools (e.g. Bexio) and Excel
- Creative and solution-oriented mindset with the capability to address complex challenges pragmatically and effectively
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field (or equivalent professional qualification)
- Experience with exposure to investors and familiarity with fundraising processes
