Job Description
We are looking to hire an Actuarial Intern for a 612-month period to join our Central Pricing Team in Zurich reporting to a Senior Pricing this role you will be responsible for several more detail your responsibilities may include:
- Supporting our global Central Pricing Team and local Market Units to further develop pricing tools primarily in Microsoft Excel and R.
- Expanding existing R frameworks for stochastic modelling.
- Actuarial and pricing review support.
- Collaborating with team members to understand requirements communicate results and integrate models into broader reinsurance pricing and analytics frameworks.

About you
We are looking for a strong actuarial student with R modelling skills who seeks challenge and has a desire to learn about new products markets and approaches. You wish to work in a dynamic and culturally diverse environment with colleagues possessing a wide and varied range of experiences.
In addition to be an ideal candidate you have the following background skills and mindset:
- Graduated from or currently enrolled in a relevant university program in statistics mathematics actuarial science or a related field. Making progress towards qualifying as an Actuary.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience using VBA is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in R programming language data manipulation and visualization including tidyverse packages. Experience with R-shiny is a plus.
- Fluent in English.
