About the team and the role:

eBay is seeking a Snr. Manager People Business Partner. This role reporting to a Senior Director People Business Partner will support eBays Global Marketplace Experience Organization working primarily with our international in-country market teams that are commercial and operational by nature.

This position is a fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will be an influential leader capable of working with a diverse group of senior leaders with varying styles. This individual will be responsible for understanding the business objectives of eBay and the organizations they support and providing the appropriate people expertise strategic feedback insight process and/or programs to deliver business results. This candidate must be capable of working in and with business leaders and peers on the People Team.

What You Will Accomplish

• Strategic People Business Partner: Understand the business and teams supported top to bottom. Partner with business leaders to develop business objectives and plans understanding how to craft and implement People strategies to ensure the organization capabilities and culture are optimized to deliver business results.
• People Program Activation: Understand your organizations strategic goals and activate the appropriate corporate people programs strategies and processes pertinent to rewards & compensation staffing talent management/OD employee relations and learning to achieve business results.
• Executive Coaching: Strengthen the senior leadership team of each function by providing mentoring and counseling to senior executives to further develop their leadership capability.
• Organizational Efficiency: Partner with senior executives and leadership teams of the client organizations to craft and build organizational capability through to deliver against the strategic goals and objectives of the businesses.
• HR Analytics: Use data to build insights that advise and measure efficiency of people strategies.
• Leadership: Improve People capability by partnering with other members of the People team to develop and implement new and / or improved programs and processes. Bring new People expertise and capability to the eBay People team. Participate in the ongoing development of the People org strategic direction for the business and company.

What You Will Bring

• 7-10 years of human resources experience (people) with experience in an increasingly senior and sophisticated global business environment influencing and getting results working with executive leaders.
• Experience working in retail environments or with commercially orientated teams will be an advantage
• Adept collaborator with strong leadership skills that include the ability to optimally consult negotiate resolve conflict and inspire change.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Excellent project management skills with a proven track record to design and implement creative processes and solutions that drive business results.
• Proven track record to be a transformational and strategic thought leader.
• Highly effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Standout colleague with the ability to facilitate team building develop effective partnerships and collaborate with a variety of collaborators at all levels.
