Job Description
- Drive the development and maintenance of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS)
- Lead and participate in HAZOP reviews SIL Determination and Functional Safety Assessments (FSA)
- Design validate and oversee Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) in line with IEC 61508/61511 standards
- Prepare and manage key safety lifecycle documentation from validation plans to proof test protocols
- Support instrumentation and control engineers with implementation and verification of safety functions
- Conduct detailed cybersecurity risk assessments and implement robust controls based on IEC 62443
- Collaborate with control system integrators to ensure secure standards-compliant design
- Contribute to audits regulatory processes and the ongoing improvement of safety and cybersecurity procedures
Qualifications :
- 5 years of hands-on experience in Functional Safety and Cybersecurity within the energy or process industries
- TV Rheinland Functional Safety certification and ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert credentials
- Strong command of IECand 62443 standards
- Solid skills in MS Office CAE tools like COMOS and a sharp eye for quality assurance
- Analytical thinker with a proactive problem-solving mindset and solid decision-making under pressure
- Able to work independently and handle high-stress situations with confidence
- Fluent in English; knowledge of German or other languages is a plus
- Bonus if you bring commissioning experience ExSILentia know-how or project management skills
