Job Description Summary

In this role you will act as a key advisor and partner to business leaders providing expertise in organizational development change management talent management and leadership development. Furthermore you will drive P&O initiatives to help drive the execution of the business strategy.

Please note: We are hiring for two positions one is for the CLS and V&A organization reporting to Christelle Ravez the other one is for Region Europe and the Swiss Commercial (Rotkreuz) organization reporting to Winnie Doeswijk.



Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Business plan and long-term strategy enablement:

  • Act as integral member of the business you support including some critical priorities linked to the International business strategy being a partner for different parts of the international business (either within the V&A/CLS organization or within the Region Europe and Swiss Commercial (Rotkreuz) organizations)
  • Build and deliver P&O plans that underpin and enable business strategy for the different organizations you support
  • Enable business unit talent management incl OTR succession planning cohort development facilitation of talent moves and retention interventions supporting leader accountability
  • Support organization diagnosis and any needed org design including the enablement of resource flexibility towards focused business growth
  • Collaborate with P&O colleagues and other functions to deliver integrated solutions that enhance organizational effectiveness as well as shape and advise business on embedding of engagement culture diversity & inclusion aspirations
  • Provide project management change management support and manage prioritization and implementation of business/unit-wide programs locally

Leadership and Team Development:

  • Assess team effectiveness and support critical value teams towards strong performance
  • Support leaders in ensuring development of their talent incl via LD programs as well as coach and support senior leaders to effectively develop the business their teams and their own growth (it we and I)

Enable business performance through data-driven decision-making:

  • Monitor and identify business performance and people risks / opportunities ensuring data-driven decision-making
  • Generate and use appropriate P&O reports to provide insights and recommendations to leaders and their LTs on P&O topics and measure impact of interventions (TM LD Culture Org Change etc)

Enable the Region Europe and Swiss commercial organization or V&A/CLS P&O community and agenda:

  • Support your respective P&O Head to lead the function as POLT member and enabling the POBP community as well as working with senior leaders to co-create and lead the implementation of selected business and/or P&O strategic initiatives to implement our strategy as needed

Essential Requirements:

  • Masters degree in Human Resources and further education in Business economics/Organizational Development/ Consulting/ Coaching/Change Management/ Project management is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in P&O roles with a focus on business partnership with demonstrated impact on organizational development talent management LD and team effectiveness culture and engagement.
  • Prior experience as Country P&O Head or a POBP in a commercial environment and/or above-country P&O experience in complex business unit
  • Experience leading coaching and mentoring cross-disciplinary matrixed P&O and client teams in multi-cultural teams
  • Proven business acumen strategic skills and business understanding combined with drive to implementation
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) German is a plus

Please note: For the Region Europe/Swiss commercial role there is a need to be present with leaders in both Basel and Rotkreuz offices.
