About the role
We are looking for a Product Owner to lead the development and integration of a SaaS-based platform for pricing exposure risk analytics and portfolio management (Orchestra). You will shape the product roadmap support delivery of key capabilitiesparticularly in Cyberand ensure solutions align with business priorities. This role works closely with actuarial risk underwriting and tech teams to enhance modelling accuracy and support data-driven decisions contributing to MS Reinsurances digital transformation in a scaled agile environment.
Your responsibilities
- Lead the development and integration of a SaaS-based platform (Orchestra) covering pricing exposure risk analytics modelling (modelled and non-modelled) and portfolio management
- Define develop and evolve the product roadmap ensuring delivery of solutions aligned with business needs and priorities
- Oversee the development of a future pricing solution integrating exposure results data and modelling toolsespecially in areas like Cyber
- Collaborate with actuarial catastrophe modelling underwriting risk management IT and external vendors to enhance modelling accuracy and enable risk-informed decision-making
- Ensure the Pricing and Modelling organisation is equipped with effective and user-friendly tools that support operational excellence and group objectives
- Play a central role in MS Reinsurances digital transformation working within a scaled agile setup as part of the Product Factory
Your profile
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Systems Actuarial Science Mathematics Data Science or Quantitative Finance
- 5 years of experience as a Product Owner in agile environments (SAFe Scrum Kanban)
- Demonstrated experience in customer engagement change prioritisation and delivery of complex programmes in re/insurance or fintech
- Strong knowledge of risk analytics platforms (e.g. Orchestra RMS AIR) and deep understanding of underwriting pricing and exposure modelling
- Experience managing external vendors and shaping technology roadmaps
- Proficient in API integrations automation and scripting (e.g. Python)
- Strong analytical mindset and solution-oriented skills with a data-driven approach
- Effective communicator and stakeholder manager bridging business and IT
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
