Were looking for a strategic team-oriented leader to head our Asset Optimisation & Logistics Business IT this pivotal role youll ensure system reliability across Axpos energy trading operations and drive strategic change initiatives that to support our future Business needs across Europe.
What you will do:
- Lead a team of 2025 professionals managing business-critical 24/7 AO&L production systems
- Co-develop the IT strategy architecture for key business platforms
- Manage the operations of multiple 24/7 Operational systems in the company
- Oversee and shape the delivery of strategic Business IT projects for a wide range of business lines
- Be a strategic partner for senior Business stakeholders
- Be a key part of our wider Axpo Solutions IT Leadership team
- Mentor and develop team teams in multiple locations
What you bring & who you are:
- 10 years of experience in IT within Asset Optimisation & Logistics ideally in energy or commodities
- Be a flexible thinker be ready to grow and be challenged in an entrepreneurial environment
- Bring a balance between strategic thinking and a having a focus on operational excellence
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Proven leadership in managing support and delivery incl. multi-location and vendor teams
- Strong knowledge of ITIL and full software development lifecycle
- Expertise in balancing operational stability with long-term transformation goals
- Fluent in English; German is a plus

Youll join a motivated collaborative leadership team within Trading IT working closely with business and technical stakeholders to shape the digital future of energy trading. Together we ensure high-performing systems that enable Axpos core trading and logistics operations.
